To catch you up on the photos

I am very pleased with myself in creating this blog. I am learning so much and getting a real kick out of figuring out how to do stuff. I am using my brother's blog as a help. Everyone should check it out - www.griffospot.blogspot.com. It is filling everyone in on their European adventure.

So I discovered how to put the picasa slideshows down the side of the page. I thought I should fill you in on the subject of each of the photo slideshows.

Daisy Birth is fairly obvious.

Daisy's 6 month party was written about in the last post.

Our Yamba Holiday

We went to Yamba for a week long holiday in June. Earlier in the year we looked after a friend's accommodation business while they went on holiday for 2 weeks. We decided because we had worked extra hard in those two weeks we should treat ourselves. So with the money we earned we bought ourselves a new camera and went to Yamba for a holiday. It had been over a year since our last holiday away and we needed a change of location and routine for a while.

We stayed at the Sands apartments in Yamba. We got a 3 bedroom apartment with an ocean view for a bargain! We spent the first few days with just the 3 of us. Then Maureen and Ron (Graham's mum and dad) came down from Ballina for a couple of days to stay. My mum and dad and nan came to Yamba to have lunch with all of us one day. Then we had our friends Carissa, Justin and Mieke come and stay for a couple of days.

We had a lovely time. It was very relaxing. We saw some whales and dolphins in the ocean from our veranda. The dolphins were surfing the waves - brilliant! We also had some lorikeets come and visit us on our veranda each morning. They found a great place to sit on Ron's head. It was lovely getting up each morning to watch the sun rise over the ocean. Daisy was a good girl and timed her waking up perfectly so that we could watch it.

The Mazda has never been so full to go on our holiday. We took everything we could possibly want (including our coffee machine:)).

The next set of photos that I will put up are Daisy in the morning in our bed "Morning Play time". Each morning when she wakes up (she sleeps in her own room now!) she comes into our room for her "breakfast" feed. Then she lays between us and we read her a story and sing songs and have a lovely time together before we come downstairs for her food breakfast. It is so nice. I have some gorgeous photos of one day during this time so I thought I would share them.
