Waving

Hi Everyone

Daisy's latest trick is waving. We thought it was just a coincidence the first time. Daisy waved her arm to Graham and smacked me on the shoulder as he waved to her.... but then she repeated the trick again and has done heaps since. The lovely thing is that the first person she did it to was her daddy on his birthday. She has learnt her first sign and "socially acceptable" form of communication! It is so cute. She nearly does it every time you wave to her she waves her arm back.

I think her teeth are still giving her a bit of pain - the front tooth is coming down more and the right front tooth may be emerging.

We had a lovely Griffioen family night here on Saturday night (sorry Andrew and Jamie - we missed you terribly!). Mark, Vicki, Emily and Will, Ma and Opa came and had a sleep over. It was so nice. Daisy just loves her cousins and they love her back. I am putting some photos of the sleep over on the August Photos slideshow.

Daisy and I went to Woolgoolga park and met our friends Zac and Mieke (babies) and Lana and Carissa. It was a spectacular day down there. The water looked just crystal clear and calm and the sun was shining beautifully and there was only a little breeze blowing. We had a lovely time. We really do live in the most beautiful part of the world. The weather at this time of the year - when it is good it is my favourite - warm but not hot - beautiful!

Keep smiling.

Love Fe x
